PHOENIX Robert Brina, a partner with the Kasdan Simonds Weber & Vaughan law firm, has been admitted to the Arizona state bar. The Kasdan Simonds firm has offices in Phoenix and in Irvine and Walnut Creek, CA, and represents plaintiffs in major construction defect litigation.

One of California's leading construction defect attorneys, Mr. Brina has represented a diversity of homeowners since joining the Kasdan Simonds firm in 2004, including 600 homeowners in Scottsdale, AZ, who won a multi-million-dollar lawsuit again a major homebuilder. During his career, Mr. Brina has represented both public and private sector clients in a variety of complex civil litigation matters and real estate transactions.

Mr. Brina was admitted to the California State Bar in 1985 and is licensed to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Central Districts of California; U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit; and the U.S. Supreme Court. He is a member of the Beverly Hills Bar Association, and Judge Pro Tem, Los Angeles County Superior Court. Mr. Brina is the author of The Jury Verdict Method and How to Control Todays Costs for Yesterdays Projects.

Mr. Brina earned his Juris Doctorate from the UCLA School of Law, and his Ph.D. in English and American Literature from the University of California, Berkeley. He graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown University with a degree in English literature.
