Concord – Timothy R. Smyth has joined the Concord office of the Kasdan Simonds Riley & Vaughan law firm, one of California’s leading law firms representing plaintiffs in major construction defect litigation.
Before joining Kasdan Simonds, Smyth was associated with a San Francisco law firm where he prepared music licensing agreements, property and land lease agreements, limited liability partnership operating agreements and investment contracts and proposals.
A recent graduate of Golden Gate University School of Law, San Francisco, CA, Smyth earned his doctorate in jurisprudence with a focus on intellectual property litigation. At GGU he was president of the Intellectual Property Law Association and is a member of the San Francisco Intellectual Property Law Association and the IP Division of the California Bar Association. A native of Martinez, CA, Tim graduated from the University of California, Davis, with Bachelor of Science degrees in political science and economics.
